Another vantage of the same rock.  I love the light hitting water and rock.

Next to sunset pictures, I love sunrise pictures (it’s harder to get folks up for these).  Neroli, the woman who owns the B&B we stayed at, is an accomplished photographer and agreed to take us out for some photo opportunities at a nearby private beach.   The gentleman who owns the beach graciously allowed us time to take all the pictures we desired. We loved the effect of the water hitting the rock.

Another aspect of the same sunset…the colors kept changing….I’ll spare you from the rest of the 50 pictures of the ever changing sunset on this night.

Just after arriving at our B&B in Haast, we experienced this incredible sunset.  There were so many different colors in the sky.  Wow!

Another example of the diversity of the landscape in Southwestern New Zealand.

Another scenic stop along the way to Haast.  We loved the beautiful reflections in the water…and finally the light was beginning to work for us a little.

En route to Haast (where our B&B was), we stopped at Knight’s Point.  The entire trip from Fox Glacier to Haast was beyond words.  We could have stopped a million times along the way, but as luck would have it, the New Zealanders don’t really want you to stop and admire the views – there were very few scenic stops along the way; but we made the most of each stop that was available to us.
