We added a day to our trip as we changed flights on the way home. We flew from Queenstown to Auckland and stayed one night in Auckland. We arrived in the rain and I took this picture outside of our hotel balcony.  While the picture doesn’t reflect Auckland, the scene did remind me of those scary movies where all the bad things happen on a rainy night on the dock.

Wow, this is such an amazing trip that yall experienced! Thank you sooo much for taking the time to put together this summary of your trip. Of course I would have preferred to have been there with y’all, but being taken along virtually was also quite a treat so much appreciated.
I also swear to not make fun of y’all anymore for taking 4,000 photographs because your photos here are incredibly impressive. I am trying to decide which one I want to use as a wallpaper on my computer!
